Toshiba has developed its latest “Thrive 7” tablet,” that will be officially launched in December. Formerly, 10.1” thrive tablet was launched by Toshiba. Actually, “Thrive 7” Tablet” is a technologically advanced form of 10.1” Thrive Tablet. Because some of its parts i-e full sized SD card slot and detachable rear cover are replaced in Thrive 7” Tablet. This is done in order to enhance its mobility and transportability.

CERN 'Faster than the Speed of Light'

The scientists of European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) have proved experimentally that the Neutrinos can travel faster than the speed of light. The neutrinos were fired from the CERN center of Geneva to Gran Sasso (730 km away) in Italy and they arrived 60 nanoseconds earlier than the light.

Antonio Ereditato, orator of CERN, said:

"We have high confidence in our results. We have checked and rechecked for anything that could have distorted our measurements but we found nothing," he said. "We now want colleagues to check them independently."

It is now confirm that this new discovery will surely destabilize Einstein’s special theory of relativity (1905). According to this theory, “Nothing in the universe can travel with a speed greater than the speed of light. An infinite amount of energy is required to travel with the speed of light (E=mc^2) ”

The experiment was repeated 15,000 times for 3 years. The results were same. The results of this new discovery will be magnificent. This new discovery is regarded to be more important than the discovery of radioactivity. These particles were difficult to create but they were created in a large Hydron Collider.

Neutrinos are very tiny particles residing in the atom. They have no net charge. Basically, they are neutral in nature. This is the reason they can travel to a long distances without being affected by electromagnetic fields. They are very difficult to detect. But the scientists used very special and powerful detectors in this experiment. Neutrinos interact with a force called “weak force.” This force is liable for nuclear beta decay. For example, decay of neutron into a proton, electron or another unit. According to physics, there is an antiparticle of every particle and this is the reason the universe is existing. Because of the presence of anti-particles the charge in the whole universe is balanced. Surely, there will also be a anti neutrino existing in nature. The basic property by which neutrinos can travel in the space of matter is called “neutrino oscillation.” This means that neutrinos can oscillate back and forth into each other i-e one type of neutrino get transmogrified into another type of neutrino and this is how they travel in space and matter.

All the laws of physics are based on speed, speed of light. If we go faster than the speed of light then time travel, faster than the speed of light travel, exploration of universe and amazing other things will become possible. The things like time machine, go into the past and future (science fiction) were restricted because of this fundamental law of physics. Because of this discovery, these things can be possible.

The laboratory, in which this research was carried out, is situated 120km south of Rome. It is considered as one of the largest laboratory for studying particle physics and cosmic research.
